How to Play the Facebook Hit & Knock Down Game
Hit & Knock Down is a new sports model in Wii Sports Resort. When you hit the ball, it will stun or drop-down depending on how hard you hit it. The object of this mode is to knock down as many targets as possible within the time limit. Different balls are supported (model tennis ball, basketball ball, bowling ball, volleyball ball, golf ball), so you have a wide variety of options to choose from.
How to play the game? Well, it’s quite simple actually. You just need to swipe the left trigger once to launch your ball. You can also use the left and right triggers to increase or decrease the speed of your ball. The game is played in teams, and the player on the bottom left corner of the screen is the manager.
It’s a bit tricky at first since there are no rules to guide you. First, you have a limited number of powers that you can use. Second, there are some other unique twists that you can use to score points. There is a timer, so you have to keep track of the time you have left to complete the current round. Plus, there are power-ups that change how the ball hits other objects, and some even do extra things like changing the color of the ball.
When you’re in the regular time limit mode, there are many different challenges you can do. The first one is the “oil drum challenge” – challenge yourself to slam as many oil drums as you can. This is easy, as all you have to do is stick your oil drum into the middle of the screen. Plus, hitting your Drum will cause it to shoot off columns of smoke. The faster you hit your Drum, the more smoke it leaves in the air!
In the “hit & knock” mode, you’ll need to move the stick over various objects such as boxes, pots, and barrels. Plus, there is a clock at the bottom of the screen that counts down. As you reach the twelve minutes mark, the clock will go forward by one minute. If you wish, there is also an “unlock” button at the bottom right of the screen that will unlock the app.
Now, if you wish to play the game on the HTC Wildfire or other HTC devices, you may need the Google Android Emulator. To download and run the emulator, you should use the Google Android app store. This is a program that is considered freeware, which means it’s completely free to download and use. Just download the app, and it will run a series of tests to determine which phone, handset, and OS are compatible with it before it attempts to play the game.
In order to play, you’ll need to load up the game. Once that’s finished, you can tap “start” to start the game. You’ll then be taken to a blank screen, where you’ll fill in the onscreen challenges you would like the game to challenge you with. Once that’s done, you can tap the “finish” to end the game. In a nutshell, this is how to play the Facebook hit & knockdown game. It’s not too difficult, and you should have no problem getting into the rhythm of challenging yourself to get to the highest score.
What I find impressive is that the developer managed to include lots of features into the game, besides the hit and knock sounds and the music cues. There are two challenges that progress by sliding across the screen as you attempt to hit each block and move the camera left and right. The second challenge is a bit more complicated, involving tapping certain blocks in a specific order to make the oil drums drop – although you only have a limited amount of time to try this before time runs out. Overall, it’s an enjoyable little game with some nice little graphics.
