Bloons TD Battles is a flash game that has been designed exclusively for the Facebook platform. Players take on the role of an animated turtle and blast away at anything and everything in sight! There are several different game modes and several levels to master, as well as a level editor to work along with the levels to perfect your strategy.
Bloons TD Battles have a wide range of enemies you can battle. Two types of enemies are included in this game: the snail and the frog. Both of these enemy types move quickly and will pop out from behind walls and other obstacles to pounce on you. These enemies can be controlled in both speed and agility and will quickly close in and attack if you aren’t quick enough. You must learn to master the skills necessary to win and defeat every level in order to advance to the next.
Bloons TD Battles feature both defense and offense in its exciting single-player campaign. You have the ability to build towers and defend them from an array of attacks. These towers can be used for shelter and protection or used to launch a variety of bombs and missiles that will destroy anything within their reach. The offensive side of the gameplay consists of you destroying enemy turtles using powerful bombs and other weapons. These attacks will leave many of your turtle’s dead, so you must continue to protect yourself using any weapons available.
Defense is achieved by destroying enemy towers and making sure none are able to touch your turtle. Basic levels allow you to easily defend your island with a single helpful tower. As you progress to more difficult ones, more powerful defensive structures become available. These towers will rotate around the battlefield, attacking anything they can find and protecting your island from an endless stream of enemies.
Bloons TD Battles allow you to switch between game modes during play. The two main game modes include Normal and Special Attack, and each mode has its own set of towers and missions for you to complete before moving on to the next. The two-game modes offer different play styles. During the Normal Mode, you are able to choose how many lives you want to spend, jump between levels, and activate bombs and missiles to attack and defend your island. On the special attack mode, you only have a few seconds to defeat all of the enemies before time runs out.
Bloons TD Battles have a single-player and versus play mode. The single-player gameplay is what sets this game apart from the rest of its peers. It allows you to do things differently than other tower defense games. You can use only one type of weapon, for example, or even increase the number of towers you have by using only a single bomb. The Versus play mode offers more elaborate gameplay, where you can send different teams of enemies into an arena to take out one another.
In addition to the single and versus play modes, Bloons TD Battles has four game modes that can all be played in co-op mode. The first, called the Endless Campaign, requires you and a friend to eliminate all of the zombies on your Island before time runs out. The third game mode is called Encounter Battle, and you must send a team of monkeys against waves of zombies who have a tendency to surround your island. Lastly, there is a timed game mode that will pit your island against waves of CPU-controlled enemies and will reward you for your efforts when the time comes. All of these game modes, including the co-op play mode, are available for free on the official Bloons TD website.
