Jetpack Joyride 2 is the follow-up to the hit video game Jetpack Joy Ride. This time around, you have a chance to pick up the girl you’ve always wanted. Your special someone will absolutely love this second go around and will wonder how you could possibly let her get away. How to install game Jetpack Joyride 2?
Although the graphics of jetpack joy ride 2 is not as sharp as the original game, the tale behind it still gets under your skin. You see, in the first game, you didn’t have much of a choice as to how you played. You had your standard rounds of shooting or driving, where all you did was wait for the bullets to fly by your character. However, in jetpack joyride 2 you have more choices, such as power-ups that can change the course of the action, or even slow it down.
The one big difference between the two games is that the original game came out for the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) and now the game is available for Android. So what exactly makes this new release so special? Well, besides the awesome graphics, is that it comes with a lot more options for you to enjoy. Here are some of the things that made my day when I downloaded and installed jetpack joyride 2 for my phone:
Playing as Johnny Costa, you start off in the year 2021. As you continue to play the game, you find out that Johnny has been framed in the case of the sniper attacks on police officers. He knows that his girlfriend has been taken hostage and taken to jail and the only way he can get to her is if he can get past the police. Your mission for him is to save her and get back to the mainland. That is where jetpack joyride 2 comes in. You play the part of a helicopter pilot and jetpack your way through the city to reach the girl you saved.
The great thing about playing the first game is the wonderful graphics. Even though the game uses the PS Move motion-sensing technology, the graphics aren’t that great and some elements just weren’t completed. However, there are some superb hidden items scattered throughout the land that will really add to the fun of the game. When playing the jet pack joyride 2 trailer, I noticed that there were items such as the bullet rush timer, the map you were playing on, and even the cheat codes which really helped me score well during my runs.
When playing the second chapter of the thrilling action-adventure, jetpack joyride 2 comes with some neat additions as well including the bullet rush soft-launched cheat codes as well as the airplane horn that goes off when your score increases. These additions really add to the excitement level of the game and ensure that players will want to continue playing for a while after the first episode is over. If you loved the first game, then Jetpack Joyride 2 is the sequel you have been looking for.
Due to the amazing trailers we saw at E3, many people got the idea that Jetpack Joyride 2 is going to be an amazing game. It’s certainly not the same as the original game, but it’s not like a completely new game either. The original was not only played on the PlayStation 2, but it also featured the use of the Move motion sensor. This time around, the game will be coming out for Nintendo Wii. Although the Wii controls don’t exactly match up to those found on the PlayStation 2, they still work quite well.
